I've got News for you... celebrates Black History Month

I am honored by the selection of the song "I've got news for you..." by "Accoustic Fuel" as inspirational song in celebration of "Black History Month"

the song is from my album "Ghetto Fabulous" released last September in France; the album wich is already playing on local and natioonal radios in the Netherlands is due for release nation wide in that territory on march 13th. In april, I will play 5 concerts in support of the albm

On Tuesday the 9th of May 2006, it will have been 3 years since my dad passed away. I wrote “Farewell Angel” the morning of his burial, I had planed to sing it at his funeral. Finally I just said a poem about what is left of a dear dad when he is no more, how he still lives in the offspring’s he leaves behind, how the love he gave never died, because love is eternal and lives forever in our hearts and in the parallel universe where everything is divine. I believe that every word uttered, every conscious thought, every time love blossoms from the heart, like the light never dies out and travels through time and space, like the dead stars that still reveal their former glory to us; our words and our love or hatred will be with us in eternity.
As I finish recording this album, I decided to record this song with an acoustic and a dynamic microphone I only use on stage, we did one take everything at once, no gimmicks, nothing technical. I wanted the song to come out like it would have sound, if I had sung it that day 3 years ago. I did not expect it to catch anyone attention, it was something very personal. Then something happened, many people who have listened to the album or had the promo version started calling me to tell me how they were touch by the song…
IN MEMORY OF MY DAD I WANT TO SHARE THIS SONG WITH ANYONE OUTHERE WHO CARES TO LISTEN AND IF IT TOUCHES YOU, COMFORTS YOU OR HELP YOU REMEMBER A DEAR ONE AND SEND A SMILE TO ETERNITY

I have not updated any news in the last 2 weeks. I have been having some internet problems. However I want you all to know that things are moving forward, more and more radios are adding the song to their playlist. We are still working on the promotion of the single and the album is due to be released first week of September. We will be shooting a video soon with a very artistic French director. We should also be very soon on Yahoo radio. I am exploring the technical side of beaming some concerts live on the blog or on my label web site. We will keep you inform.
